I’m a huge dog lover. Not gonna get into what I think deserved to happen to Mike Vick (but if you listen to the beginning of ‘Method Man’ on 36 Chambers you’ll have an idea; tag words being ‘ass cheeks’, ‘nuts’, ‘spiked fuckin bat’, ‘rusty screwdriver’).

Here’s what I can’t seem to grasp. How does the ASPCA (or the like) figure that Vick should be the ‘voice’ against animal cruelty?? Isn’t he the least qualified person in the world for this position??

Should Roger Clemens be the spokesperson for why steroids are bad for you?

Has anyone seen Leonard Little do a commercial against drunk driving?

How about I become the spokesman for abstinence?

You know why these things aren’t happening??? Because Clemens juiced, Leonard Little killed someone while driving drunk, and I get tons of ass

And Mike Vick brutally abused dogs. I have absolutely ZERO interest in hearing what he has to say about being ‘nice’ to animals.

If we, as a society, are ‘forgiving’ Michael Vick (and whether you personally agree or not, this is what has happened), why does it need to come with the qualifier that we need to see him be ‘active’ in the animal rights community?
